Pretty healthy and easy peasy Peach and Cao Crumble

This is a great recipe for those Sundays when you suddenly realise that you haven’t made the obligatory pudding and you don’t want the wrath of small children.  It’s super easy and takes very little time.  It contains no refined sugar and is suitable for vegans.

Serves 5


  • 5 peaches
  • 125g Puffed buckwheat (or another cereal in the cupboard)
  • 200g Rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoon of Coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons of Malt Cao
  • 70g Raisins

Stone the peaches with the end of a veg peeler and place in an oven proof dish with a small amount of water. Put the dish in the bottom of the oven whilst you are finishing off the roast!

Add of a little water to the Cao to loosen.  Melt the coconut oil and mix in the Cao.

Place the puffed buckwheat and oats in a bowl and stir the Cao mixture in, add the raisins.

Take the dish out and top with the crumble mixture.  Return to the oven for around 20 minutes.

Serve with natural yogurt and breath!
